Diane Lecomte

Diane LeComte has over 25 years of experience in clinical research management and operations. Diane currently holds the position of Sr. Director of Clinical Operations at Akebia Therapeutics. Prior to their current role, they served as Senior Director at Lundbeck from 2014 to 2021, where they also held the position of Director of US Clinical Operations from 2007 to 2014. Diane has also worked as Director of Clinical Research Management at Ovation Pharmaceuticals from 2007 to 2009 and at NeoPharm, Inc. from 2004 to 2007. At NeoPharm, Inc., they also held the role of Assistant Director of Clinical and Medical Communications in 2004. Diane began their career as a Clinical Research Manager at Searle (Pfizer/Pharmacia) from 1997 to 2003, where they led global project teams for large international clinical trials and contributed to the writing process for NDA submissions.

Diane LeComte has attended the University of Minnesota where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Scientific and Technical Communications with a medical emphasis.
