Erik Norbom

Erik Norbom is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the First Chief Engineer in Innovation and Technology at Aker Solutions since March 2017, Erik has held various leadership roles including Vice President of Technology, Vice President of T&I and Advanced Well Control at MHWirth, and Chief Technology Officer at Aker Oilfield Services. A prolific contributor to subsea technology, notable projects include the development of the SESV system for Petrobras and subsea well intervention systems. Erik's educational background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Mechanical Technology in Trondheim.
