Mark Woodroffe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mark most recently worked as the VP of Legal, Securities & Governance at Akili Interactive since 2022. Prior to that, they held positions at Epizyme as the Executive Director of Corporate Law and Assistant Corporate Secretary, where they built the in-house legal function and played a key role in negotiating a merger. Mark also served as the Director of Corporate Governance at Epizyme. Mark was previously a Corporate Counsel at Altra Industrial Motion, advising on a range of legal matters and conducting investigations. Mark began their career as a Corporate Associate at Cooley LLP, where they focused on capital markets, M&A, and VC financing transactions. Mark also gained experience in editorial work as the Executive Articles Editor of the Boston College Law Review. Additionally, they held internships at Sherin and Lodgen LLP, the Florida State Golf Association, The Honda Classic, and the Detroit Lions, Inc., where they gained valuable skills and experience.

Mark Woodroffe obtained their Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from Boston College Law School in 2014, graduating cum laude. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sport Management, with a minor in Business Administration, from the University of Florida in 2008, also graduating cum laude. In November 2014, they obtained a Bar Admission certification in Massachusetts from the Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners.
