Gal Abramovitz

Gal Abramovitz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gal started their career in 2008 at the Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200, where they served as an Analyst and Language Expert, Operations Officer, Team Commander, and completed the Officers Course. In 2013, Gal worked as a Social Media Manager & Designer for an election campaign, where they were responsible for promoting a Facebook page, designing advertisements, and tracking the campaign budget.

From 2014 to 2017, Gal worked at WEB3 - Online Marketing Group, first as a Back End Engineer, where they developed solutions for the video team using Java and Selenium, and then as a Campaign Manager, overseeing the planning, launching, and optimization of clients' campaigns. Gal also served as an Innovation Project Manager, generating a revenue stream and supporting the technical and business aspects of the project.

In 2018, Gal joined Emarsys as a Full Stack Engineer, where they were responsible for the company's lead generation tool and worked as a full stack developer. Gal also contributed to the development of Emarsys' website and managed an outsourced development team.

From 2019 to 2020, Gal worked at Zencity as a Full Stack Engineer, playing a key role in developing the company's platform. Gal designed and developed various features, including importing and parsing data from different sources, data-intensive components and screens, and responsive dynamic dashboards and pages.

Most recently, Gal joined Akooda as the VP R&D in November 2020.

Gal Abramovitz completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Linguistics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2015 to 2019. In addition, Gal obtained a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in August 2018.
