Jennifer Pappadakis currently serves as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Akouos, where responsibilities include developing and executing the Medical Affairs and Patient Advocacy strategy for the inner ear gene therapy portfolio. Prior to this role, Jennifer held the position of Vice President for Global Medical Affairs & Patient Affairs at Sio Gene Therapies, overseeing medical and patient affairs activities for rare pediatric and adult neurodegenerative diseases. During a long tenure at Allergan, Jennifer was instrumental in creating and leading functions in Medical and Launch Excellence, stakeholder relations, medical policy, and scientific payer engagement, contributing to the effectiveness of a 700+ person Medical Affairs organization. Jennifer's earlier roles included management positions at Baxter Healthcare and Watson Pharmaceuticals, where a focus on business development and relationship building with thought leaders was paramount. Jennifer holds an MS and a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Northwestern University, as well as a BS in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
