Daswell Davis

Daswell Davis has over 10 years of work experience in various legal and corporate roles. Daswell is currently working as a Senior Corporate Counsel at Akoya since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate in the Technology Companies Group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in 2021 and 2022. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Corporate Counsel at Passthrough. Before that, Daswell worked in legal roles at Mazars and Golan & Christie LLP. Daswell also has experience in corporate development as a Corporate Development Manager at Carta from 2017 to 2018 and as an Investment Banking Associate at BCMS from 2016 to 2017. Daswell started their career as a Corporate Associate at Golan & Christie LLP in 2014. In addition to their legal experience, Daswell worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and as a Summer Associate at Johns Marino LLP. Daswell also gained experience as a Judicial Extern at the Illinois Sixth Judicial Circuit Court. Daswell holds a Juris Doctor degree.

Daswell Davis completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) from the University of South Florida in 2010. Daswell later pursued higher studies and earned a Juris Doctor degree (cum laude) from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2014. More recently, Daswell attended Cornell Law School, where they completed a Master of Laws degree (LLM) with a focus on Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship in 2021.
