Shahul Hameed - Leed® Green Associate™

Shahul Hameed has over 14 years of work experience in various roles in the construction and project management industry. Shahul started their career as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Sunvik Steel With Power LTD in 2009 and later worked as a Junior Engineer at OPERATIONAL ENERGY GROUP INDIA LTD. Shahul then worked as an Electrical Engineer at Transgulf Electro Mechanical International W.L.L, where they were involved in MEP construction projects in Qatar.

In 2016, Shahul Hameed joined Hadeed Emirates Cont. Co. as a Project Engineer, where they were responsible for overseeing the construction of warehouses and offices in Dubai. Shahul then moved on to Line Investments & Property in 2017, where they held multiple roles. Firstly, they worked as a Tenant Coordinator/Retail Delivery Manager, managing the fit-out of retail units in malls and hypermarkets. Later, they took on the role of a Senior Electrical Engineer, responsible for project development, supervision, and management in malls and hypermarkets.

Currently, Shahul Hameed works at Al Ghurair Group as a Project Lead, where they lead projects and ensures their successful completion. Shahul also holds the LEED® Green Associate™ certification, demonstrating their knowledge and expertise in sustainable building practices.

Shahul Hameed - LEED® Green Associate™ completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sethu Institute of Technology between 2005 and 2009. Additionally, they obtained their LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in April 2022. They have also acquired additional certifications in advanced project management and contracts management & administration based on FIDIC Std, as well as completed a course on "LEED AP Building Design + Construction" from 3FOLD Education Centre.
