Sumaya Abusaleh

Sumaya Abusaleh is an experienced academic and professional in the field of computer science and software engineering. Currently serving as the Head of the Software Engineering Department and an Assistant Professor at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University since June 2018, Sumaya brings a wealth of experience from previous roles, including Research Associate and Graduate Assistant at the University of Bridgeport. Early career experience includes a position as a Full-time Instructor and System Administrator at Al-Balqa Applied University. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering with a focus on Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bridgeport, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Amman Arab University, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Mutah University, and an Associate's degree in Computer Programming from Al-Balqa Applied University.
