CTO at Alaiko

Nick Booth has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1999. Nick began their career as an IT Administrator at Oxford GlycoSciences in 1999. Nick then moved to Supply Chain Connect as an IT Infrastructure/Operations Manager in 2001. In 2003, they joined Agilisys as a Network Architect. In 2004, they began working at BlackBerry in the role of Team Lead Service Engineering - EMEA. In 2010, they were promoted to Regional Manager, BlackBerry Service Operations, a role they held until 2012. In 2012, they joined Transport for London as an Infrastructure Manager (Senior Manager). In 2015, they became Head of Technical Design and Development at John Lewis Partnership. In 2018, they joined Farmdrop as CTO/CPO, where they were responsible for all technology including farmdrop.com, warehouse management, supply chain management, IoS, and Android apps as well as internal IT. In 2021, they began working at both Feedr Ltd and Compass Group UK & Ireland, both in the role of CTO/CPO Feedr. Nick currently works at Alaiko as CTO.

Nick Booth has a long and varied educational history. In 1996, they obtained a DipHE in Computing Science from Staffordshire University. From 2008 to 2009, they completed a Professional Certificate in Management at The Open University. Nick then obtained an ITIL Version 3 Foundation certification from EXIN in February 2009. In 2010, they began a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Open Degree at The Open University, which they completed in 2011. Nick also obtained a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certification from APMG International in May 2011. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Open University in 2016.
