David Bellovin

Vice President, Discovery Biology and Pharmacology at Alamar Biosciences, Inc.

David Bellovin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. David is currently the Vice President of Discovery Biology and Pharmacology at Alamar Biosciences, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Zai Lab as the Senior Director and Head of Biology, Oncology Discovery, as well as the Director and Head of In Vivo Pharmacology. David also has experience at Five Prime Therapeutics, Inc. where they held positions such as Director, Associate Director, Senior Scientist, and Scientist in the field of Pharmacology. Previously, David worked at Stanford University School of Medicine as an Instructor and Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on liver cancer metastasis and investigating multiple cancer types using different mouse models and imaging techniques. David also completed their graduate studies at Harvard Medical School, where they researched the role of the protein p120ctn in colorectal carcinoma. David began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at The University of Arizona.

David Bellovin completed their education with a Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology/Cancer Biology from Harvard Medical School, which they pursued from 2000 to 2006. Following this, they undertook Postdoctoral Training at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2007 to 2012, focusing on the field of Mouse Models of Cancer. Prior to their Ph.D., David obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona, graduating in 2000.
