Jose L. Part

Jose L. Part has a diverse work experience starting from their internship at General Motors in 2010. Jose L. then moved on to an academic internship at Technical University of Braunschweig from September 2010 to February 2011. After that, they worked as an Automation and Control Systems Developer at SILEX S.A. from August 2011 to August 2012. In 2018, they joined Heriot-Watt University as a Research Associate and worked on the EPSRC funded SoCoRo project and the Horizon 2020 SPRING project until September 2021. Currently, they are a Research Engineer at Alana, starting from October 2021.

Jose L. Part has a strong educational background in robotics and autonomous systems. Jose L. completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Robotics and Autonomous Systems from the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Robotics and Autonomous Systems from the same institution in 2015. Before pursuing their studies in Edinburgh, Jose completed a Master's Degree in Computer Vision and Robotics from a collaboration between Université de Bourgogne, Universitat de Girona, and Heriot-Watt University in 2014. Jose L.'seducational journey started at Universidad Nacional de Rosario, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Electronic Engineering in 2012.
