Luis Lara

Luis Lara has extensive experience in the IT industry. Luis is currently working as a Principal Cloud Systems Engineer at Alarm.com since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Information Technology Operations Manager at Mercy Medical Center from September 2020 to January 2022, where they also held roles as a Senior System Engineer Team Lead from September 2018 to August 2020 and as a Senior System Engineer from September 2015 to August 2018. Before their time at Mercy Medical Center, Luis worked at Advance Central Services, Inc. as a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer from 2012 to 2015 and as a Senior System Engineer from 2009 to 2012. Luis also served as a Senior Systems Administrator at The National Academies from 2007 to 2009 and as a Security Analyst at Inter-American Development Bank in 2007. Prior to these roles, Luis worked as a Senior System Administrator at T-Systems International from 2003 to 2006.

Luis Lara obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitat de Barcelona between 1998 and 2003. In addition to their degree, they have also acquired various certifications from institutions such as Citrix, Microsoft, Cisco, Cloudian Inc, PeopleCert, and NetApp. Some of these certifications include CC-VAD-MA, AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), ITIL Foundation Level, and Netapp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA), among others.
