Don Wood

Don Wood, MSc, Prosci, is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Strategic Communication Partner at the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) since September 2023, focusing on Compliance and Emissions Management. Prior roles include Communications Manager at TELUS Spark, where contributions helped elevate the organization to one of the world’s top science centers, and Senior Advisor of Corporate Communications at ATCO Group, where leadership fostered effective global communications. Don also held various advisory roles at ATCO Group, supported Talisman Energy during significant organizational changes, served as an instructor at SAIT Polytechnic, and worked at Poynt Corporation in marketing communications. Don holds a Master of Science from Queen's University, a Bachelor of Science (Honours w/ Distinction) from Acadia University, and a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute.
