Harv Sohi

Harv Sohi has extensive experience in data and information architecture, currently serving as the Manager of Data and Information Architecture and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Practice Lead at the Alberta Energy Regulator since November 2006. In this role, Harv Sohi leads the GIS and Spatial data services practice, overseeing the design, implementation, and delivery of GIS solutions. Prior positions include Technical Lead and GIS Architect, responsible for developing applications supporting various geological and regulatory business functions. Harv Sohi's earlier career includes roles at WorleyParsons and Husky Energy, where contributions involved designing enterprise-wide GIS systems and managing data integration across multiple platforms. Educational qualifications include a PG Diploma in Object Oriented Software Technology from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Punjab Technical University, complemented by a Diploma in Computer Programming & Applications from S.L.I.E.T, India.
