Head Of Vertical & Specialized Partnerships, Americas, APAC And MEA at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise

Grégoire Thomas has a strong background in telecommunications and customer care management. Grégoire began their career at Bouygues Telecom as a Telco engineer, where they led projects for the evolution of the IP/data network and backbones. Grégoire also handled crisis management and provided support on GPRS and IP networks.

In 2008, Thomas joined Alcatel-Lucent as a Technical-Support EMEA Team Leader, responsible for leading a support team for Data Solutions in the EMEA region. Grégoire improved software and hardware through collaboration with R&D teams in the US and India.

Grégoire then advanced to the role of Customer Care Manager for Data Solutions in the Asia-Pacific region, where they oversaw technical support activities, field expertise, and escalation management. Grégoire also conducted strategic planning and operational reviews to improve customer satisfaction.

Thomas later served as the Customer Care Director for the Asia-Pacific region at Alcatel-Lucent, where they focused on organizing the team structure and launching projects to enhance customer satisfaction. Grégoire was responsible for technical support activities, field expertise, and escalation management for all product lines in the region.

Most recently, Thomas worked at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as the Head of Cloud and Communication Market Development in the Asia-Pacific region. Grégoire also served as the Cloud Services Director for APAC and the Head of vertical & specialized partnerships for the Americas, APAC, and MEA regions.

Grégoire Thomas has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Télécom SudParis, which they obtained from 2000-2004. Grégoire also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Arcadia University, completed from 2012-2013. In 2016, they completed the Executive Program in General Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management, Innovation, and Technology" from MIT Sloan Executive Education in 2017, "Platform Revolution: Making Networked Markets Work for You" from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2016, and "Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills" from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015. Furthermore, they are currently pursuing a certification in "Cybersecurity for Critical Urban Infrastructure" from MITx Courses, to be obtained in 2024.
