René Jacquat

René Jacquat has had a long and successful career in the food and beverage industry. René began their career in 1997 as an Export Manager at Ozonia AG, where they were responsible for organizing and handling all exports of the company. In 1999, they moved to ATC Aviation Services AG, where they served as Commercial Manager and Chief of Staff. In 2006, they joined Zurich Airport Ltd as the Head of PMO, International Airport Activities, then moved to Geska (Glarner Schabziger) as a QA Consultant. In 2009, they joined Lindt & Spüngli (International) AG as the Global Logistics & Distribution Manager, and in 2012 they were promoted to Vice President of Supply Chain & IT at Lindt & Sprüngli (Canada) Inc. In 2019, they joined the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals as Treasurer and Board Member. In 2020, they became Executive Vice President of Operations at Alchemai and a Mentor at Plug and Play Tech Center. René is also the Founder and Advisor of LogiChain Solutions, LLC, where they are building sustainable food supply systems.

René Jacquat obtained an Executive MBA from Strathclyde Business School between 2005 and 2007. Prior to this, they obtained a Betriebsökonom KLZ / Higher Diploma of Economics KLZ from KLZ Zürich between 1999 and 2001, a Kaderbasiskurs KLZ from KLZ Zürich in 1998, and an Exportfachmann / Education for Export Expert from EIAB between 1997 and 1999.
