Andrew MacDonald

Andrew Macdonald has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Andrew started their career as a Lab Technician at Torcad Limited in 2001 and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they owned their own business, Andrew MacDonald.

After that, they worked as a Business Analyst at Novopharm Limited for a few months in 2006. Then, in 2007, they were an Administrative Resident at Woodstock General Hospital and a Consultant at Focus Business Consulting.

In 2008, they worked as a Consultant at Blackstone Partners for a brief period.

From 2009 to 2013, they joined TEVA Canada where they held positions as Manager of Operations Finance and Manager of Finance Planning.

Since 2013, Andrew Macdonald has been working at Alcon. Andrew has held various roles, including Director of BPA Corporate, Director of FRA, Director of BPA Corporate for Japan, Head of Strategic Projects, Head of Financial Planning, and Head of Finance for the Surgical Franchise. Currently, they are serving as the Global Product Director for Retina Consumables.

Andrew Macdonald has an MBA, CPA, CMA. Andrew obtained their CPA and CMA certification from the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario in 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on co-op and management accounting at McMaster University - DeGroote School of Business from 2006 to 2009. Andrew completed their undergraduate studies at McMaster University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2006.
