Frank Menendez began their work experience as a Co-Founder at Advanced Design Technology, Inc. in 1996. Frank then went on to establish their own company, Procon, Inc., in 1997, where they served as President and Founder until 2005, developing contract services for various industries.
In 2008, Menendez joined Alcon, A Novartis Division, where they held multiple roles over the years. Frank started as a Principal Engineer, providing mechanical engineering support and acting as CAD/Windchill administrator. Frank also served as a Solution Architect and Technology implementer, focusing on model-based definition and process improvements.
From 2013 to 2016, Menendez worked as an Associate Director at Alcon, managing the Modeling and Simulation team and driving simulation-driven design and extended capabilities for clinical outcomes quantification.
Finally, Menendez held the position of Director of Engineering Services at Alcon from 2016 onwards, leading and directing Surgical Instrumentation Engineering Support Teams and supporting innovation within the teams to deliver state-of-the-art engineering services.
Frank Menendez earned their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1989 to 1993. Frank then pursued a Master's Degree in the same field from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1993 to 1995.
