Shawn Kondratiuk

Shawn Kondratiuk has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Shawn began their career at Alcon in 1993 as a Software Developer and gradually progressed through various managerial roles, including Manager of Sales Force Automation and Manager of Internet Technologies. In 2000, they became a Director of Information Architecture and Enterprise Architecture, followed by a position as Director of Global IT Infrastructure Engineering in 2007.

In 2012, Shawn joined Novartis as the Head of Strategy for Global Infrastructure Services and later assumed the role of Head of the Gemini Transformation Program. Shawn then became the Head of Integrated Hosting Services before finally becoming the IT Lead for Alcon.

Shawn returned to Alcon in 2019 and took on the position of Vice President, Head of Commercial, Digital & Finance IT, where they oversaw applications and global IT associates supporting various functions. Shawn was also responsible for digital technology, including eCommerce and digital marketing, among others.

In 2021, Shawn was promoted to Vice President, Business Technology and Platforms at Alcon. In this role, they set the strategy and vision for the company, shaping the enterprise agenda and delivering key business processes, teams, and technology platforms across various departments.
