Karina Hicks

Karina Hicks (MCIM) has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Karina started their career as a Marketing Manager at Wolf Garden Ltd, where they were responsible for various marketing and communication activities on both B2B and B2C basis. Karina then worked as the Head of Sales & Marketing at Educ8 Ltd for 9 years, where they played a crucial role in developing new business and partnership opportunities. Karina also held the position of Head of Marketing Precious Metals at The Royal Mint, overseeing marketing initiatives. Currently, they serve as the Marketing Director at Alcumus. Additionally, Karina has been an LOM Advisory Board Member at Cardiff Business School.

Karina Hicks (MCIM) earned their Masters in Business and Administration (MBA) from the University of South Wales from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their degree in Journalism & Marketing at the University of Wales, Cardiff from 2003 to 2006. Karina also obtained A Levels in Economics, English Literature, Spanish, and French from Crosskeys College. Karina has additional certifications including being a CIM MCIM Member from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, completing a Digital Marketing and Social Media Programme from In Professional Development, and obtaining a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Level 6 Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2010.
