Geri Yin MBA, CPA, CMA is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in utility management and financial oversight. Currently serving as the Head of Grid Innovation at Alectra since March 2017, Geri oversees high-profile innovation projects aimed at grid modernization and transitioning to a Distribution System Operator (DSO) model. Previously, Geri held key financial leadership roles, including Head of Business & Financial at Alectra, and Director of Business & Sales Support, where contributions included economic evaluations for electric vehicle projects and managing large-scale budgets. Geri's prior experience includes significant positions at PowerStream Inc. managing regulatory processes, financial services, and budget strategies, along with management roles at Scotiabank and Hydro One, focusing on complex financial reporting and compliance systems. Geri holds an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master's Certificate in Energy Sector Leadership from the Schulich School of Business.
