Vincent Anquetil has a diverse work experience in the scientific research field. Vincent began their career as a Research Technician at the Institute of Genetics and Development of Rennes, where they gained valuable laboratory experience. Vincent then went on to work as a Junior Researcher at the Université de Rennes 1, focusing on the regulation of muscular genes.
Vincent then pursued their Master's degree and gained further research experience at the same institute. After completing their Master's degree, they joined Columbia University as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist, where they contributed to the understanding of gene expression regulation.
In 2015, Vincent joined the ICM - Brain & Spine Institute as a Research Scientist, specializing in molecular mechanisms of frontotemporal dementia. Vincent conducted transcriptomic analyses and discovered biomarkers in circulating fluids.
In 2020, Vincent joined Galapagos as a Principal Scientist, where they optimized the use of disease animal models and investigated disease mechanisms of action.
Most recently, they began working at Alentis Therapeutics as the Director of Translational Data Science, focusing on fibrosis and oncology-associated research activities. Their responsibilities include identifying therapeutic targets, biomarker discovery, and characterizing mechanisms of action.
Throughout their career, Vincent Anquetil has demonstrated a strong background in molecular biology and has made significant contributions to various areas of scientific research.
Vincent Anquetil obtained a Master's degree in Molecular Genetics from Université de Rennes I from 2003 to 2005. Vincent later pursued a Research Doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the same university between 2005 and 2009.
