Class 5 Cover Driver - Rockgas Dunedin

About the role:

We are currently looking for a Class 5 Driver to join our team in Dunedin. This is a Cover Role based in Dunedin and requires covering shifts of drivers who are on leave. This is a permanent full-time role with Alexander Group with deliveries in Dunedin and Christchurch areas. • Due to the nature of the role, you might be required to do dayshift/nightshift & work on weekends.
• Loading and unloading of gas products to customers
• Delivering bulk LPG to customers
• Maintaining truck and gear
• Compliance with Health & Safety requirements

For this role, you will:

• Have proven Class 5 driving experience preferably within a dangerous goods environment

• Have a clean driver’s license

• Be physically fit and willing to do manual work

• Be flexible, adaptable, and have a strong work ethic

• Have a safety-first mindset and the ability to identify and minimise risks

• Have a Dangerous Goods certificate, but is not essential as we can offer training
