Petter Torgersen

Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition at Alfa Laval

Petter Torgersen has extensive work experience in talent acquisition and human resources. Petter is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition at Alfa Laval, a leading company in heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling. Before that, they worked at CARIAD as the Leader of the Talent Acquisition Transfer Team, where they played a crucial role in building a unified technology platform for Volkswagen Group's brands. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Talent Acquisition at Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH, a center of excellence for autonomous driving in the Volkswagen Group. Petter also held various roles at Schneider Electric, including Head of Process Improvement and Director of Talent Acquisition & Mobility in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and South America. In addition, they worked at Cisco as the Head of Staffing for the EMEAR region and at Penna Plc as a Consultant in the Executive Search practice. Petter started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they held roles as an Associate and Consultant, working primarily in the technology and risk management sectors.

Petter Torgersen earned their MSc degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) between 1994 and 1998. Petter also participated in an exchange program at Università Bocconi in 1997, where they furthered their studies in Economics and Business Administration. In addition, Petter Torgersen completed a Foundation Course (Grunnfag) in Psychology at the University of Bergen (UiB) from 1995 to 1996. Furthermore, in September 2017, they obtained a certification in Transforming Schneider Leadership, Level 3 Program from INSEAD Executive Education.
