Manager of Artificial Intelligence at Alginor ASA

Gabriele Kasparaviciute's work experience begins in 2012 as an intern at Lantelis, UAB. In 2015, they worked as a research assistant at t2i interaction laboratory, where they contributed to developing a more intuitive control scheme for quadcopters. Gabriele then became a teaching assistant at the University of Gothenburg in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a thesis student at ÅF, where they evaluated sensor fusion algorithms for autonomous vehicles. From 2016 to 2018, Gabriele worked as a software engineer at Semcon. In 2018, they were an engineering intern at Deep Ocean AS, focusing on subsea autonomous vehicles. In 2019, they worked as a research assistant at Chalmers University of Technology and also founded their own company, Kasparas OÜ. In 2021, they became the Manager of Artificial Intelligence at Alginor ASA. Finally, they are currently a PhD candidate at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), working on mission planning for autonomous underwater vehicles.

Gabriele Kasparaviciute has a diverse education background. In 2013, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Klaipeda University. Following this, from 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering and Management at the University of Gothenburg. Continuing their academic journey, from 2017 to 2020, Gabriele earned a Master's Degree in Applied Data Science from the same institution, the University of Gothenburg. In 2019, they briefly attended Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in underwater robotics for their Master's thesis in Space, earth, and environment. Additionally, in October 2010, Gabriele Kasparaviciute obtained a certification from the Rotary academy hosted by the Rotaract Club of Lithuania.
