Patrick Speer

Patrick Speer has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Patrick started their career at Humana as an Analyst in Finance from 2012 to 2014. Patrick then joined Avondale Partners as an Associate Equity Analyst, specializing in Biotechnology and Specialty Pharmaceuticals from 2014 to 2015. Patrick then worked at Blue Shield of California, where they held various positions, including Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis from 2016 to 2018, Senior Manager of Strategic Planning and Performance from 2018 to 2020, and Group Medicare Leader from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are working at Alignment Health as the Assistant Vice President of Medicare since 2021, and will be promoted to Vice President of Medicare in 2023. In their current role, Patrick oversees the growth and profitability of Dual Eligible, Group Medicare, and Private Exchange Products, as well as leads multiple functions including Telesales, Account Management, Broker/Sales Ops, and Market Research. Alignment Health is a concierge-focused Medicare Advantage Plan serving multiple states with a focus on serving seniors.

Patrick Speer's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Executive Leadership from USC Marshall School of Business. Patrick also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics (BSBE) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of Kentucky. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Patrick attended Trinity High School.
