Yinan Wang is a computer vision researcher currently serving as a Student Researcher at Google DeepMind since September 2023 and as President of the Society of Women Engineers (McGill Chapter) since May 2023. Yinan is also engaged in research for a PhD project at Couche-Tard focused on Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) and has been a researcher for a Master’s project at Faurecia IRYStec Inc. on image quality assessment since March 2021. Previous experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at McGill University for various programming and machine learning courses from September 2021 to December 2022, and conducting research as an intern at Mitacs in image processing algorithms in 2019 at the McGill Vision Research Lab. Yinan Wang is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Vision and Image Processing at McGill University, having previously earned a Master of Science degree in the same field and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
