Sumanta Datta (He/Him)

Sumanta Datta (He/Him) has over 28 years of professional experience in the field of sales, marketing, and engineering. Sumanta began their career in 1991 as an Asst Development Engineer at INDAL. From 1995 to 2008, they worked at Rockwell Automation, where they held the roles of Lead Engineer, Manager Special Projects, and Business Development Manager -MES. From 2008 to 2016, they worked at ABB Pte Limited, where they held the roles of Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager - Control Technologies - SAS+India, and Regional Business Head - Industry, Products & Services - BU Control Technologies - SAS + India. In 2016, they worked at Rising Engineering and Construction Pte Ltd as a Technical Sales and Business Process Advisor. Since 2019, they have been working at ALIZENT as the APAC Account Management Director and VP-Sales & Marketing. In these roles, they have been responsible for driving sales and marketing, developing strategic plans, and providing strategic consulting for the APAC region.

Sumanta Datta (He/Him) received their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Institution of Engineers of India (IEI), Kolkata and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad in 2003. Sumanta also holds a certification in Electrical Engineering from the State Council of Engineering and Technological Education, West Bengal, India. In July 2021, Datta obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity, Leadership Mindsets, and RPA, AI, and Cognitive Tech for Leaders from LinkedIn.
