Vincent Valton has a diverse range of work experience in various fields. Vincent'smost recent position is as a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer at all.health, starting in June 2021. Prior to this, Vincent worked at UCL from 2014 to 2020, where they held the roles of NIHR-UCLH Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on using machine learning for understanding and diagnosing mental health disorders. Vincent also worked as a Course Content Creator at Neuromatch Academy in 2020, creating teaching material for a computational neuroscience summer school. Vincent has also had teaching and research roles at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, University of Edinburgh, Yale University, Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, CNRS, and internships at Google and Tais Engineering. In these roles, they gained experience in a variety of areas including computational modeling, data analysis, decision-making models, and software engineering.

Vincent Valton's education history begins in 2004 when they attended the Institut Universitaire Technologique (IUT) de Nantes, where they earned a DUT degree in Computer Science & Software Engineering. Vincent then went on to attend Heriot-Watt University from 2006 to 2008, obtaining a B.Sc. Honours degree in Computer Science. After completing their undergraduate studies, Vincent Valton enrolled at The University of Edinburgh in 2008, where they pursued an M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence until 2009. Vincent then continued their studies at the same institution from 2009 to 2010, earning an M.Res. degree in Computational Neuroscience. Vincent Valton's education journey concluded with their Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience, which they completed at The University of Edinburgh from 2010 to 2014.
