Colleen Coates

Colleen Coates is the Executive Vice President, People and Culture. Prior to joining our Company, Coates served as Senior Leader, Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards for Princess Auto Ltd. from 2014 to 2020. Coates has more than 20 years of comprehensive human resources experience in large, mid-sized and global organizations including many years as a senior business consultant focused on bringing solutions to companies’ people challenges. Coates was previously a faculty member with the PACE program at the University of Winnipeg and was a long-standing columnist with the Winnipeg Free Press. As a Certified Compensation Professional, Coates has established herself as an expert in the field providing advice and guidance to Chief Executive Officers and Boards of Directors across the country and in multiple industries. She currently serves as a director and Chair of the Board of Directors of Chartered Professionals in Human Resources Manitoba and is a regular community volunteer. Coates is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources, a Certified Compensation Professional and a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional. She holds a Business Administration Certificate from Red River College and a Human Resources Certificate from the University of Manitoba.
