Laura McIntyre

Laura McIntyre is a Senior Scientist at Allergan Aesthetics since September 2021, previously holding the position of Biological Research Scientist. At the University of California, Berkeley from November 2019 to September 2021, Laura served as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where significant contributions included developing an ex vivo T cell maturation assay and conducting extensive flow cytometry experiments. Prior experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Irvine from September 2013 to November 2019 involved discovering signals essential for FoxP3 expression in regulatory T cells and performing various T cell assays. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from UC Irvine and a B.S. in Microbiology from San Diego State University. Early research internships at San Diego State University and The Scripps Research Institute provided foundational laboratory experience in virology and immune system interactions.
