David Hayden

David Hayden is a Senior Research Scientist II at Cruise, having previously held similar roles at Google and Essistive Technologies. David founded Essistive Technologies and developed the Note-Taker, a portable assistive device for individuals with visual impairments. David has a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Arizona State University. David has also interned at Google and JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory).
