Alice Young

Senior Stability Development Scientist at Allergy Therapeutics

Alice Young has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Alice began their career in 1997 as an Associate Clinical Scientist at Public Health England, where they worked on validating assays for screening Hepatitis C Virus (HCV). Alice also conducted genotyping studies and routine screening of clinical samples.

In 1999, Alice joined AstraZeneca as a Research Associate, utilizing high-throughput screening techniques for drug discovery. Alice managed large volumes of data for analysis and worked with automated liquid handling systems.

Alice then joined Novartis in 2000 as a Scientist and remained with the company until 2014. During their time at Novartis, they contributed to scientific research and development.

Starting in 2014, Alice worked as a part-time Science Technician at Worth School before joining Allergy Therapeutics in 2016. At Allergy Therapeutics, they started as a Product Stability and Data Scientist and later progressed to the role of Product Stability & Data Scientist II. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Stability Development Scientist.

Throughout their career, Alice has gained expertise in molecular biology techniques, data management, and scientific analysis.

Alice Young attended the University of East Anglia from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry.
