Bridget Cooney

Bridget Cooney has a diverse and extensive work experience in the banking industry. Bridget is currently serving as the Branch Banking Operations Director at Alliance Bank of Arizona since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at National Bank of Arizona as the SVP, Retail and Executive Banking Division Manager from July 2013 to January 2020. In this role, Bridget was responsible for implementing and executing the bank's retail banking strategy and vision, providing leadership and direction to the branch network. Bridget managed 6 regions, 71 branches, and 400 employees, overseeing $3 billion in deposits and $0.5 billion in loans. Before that, Bridget worked at Comerica Bank as the Regional Manager Arizona, SVP from March 2009 to June 2013, where they successfully expanded the banking center network in Arizona and opened 8 new branches. Bridget was also responsible for talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and overseeing 100 staff. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Chase, including Regional Sales Manager - Home Equity, NE Texas Market Manager, and Northeast District Manager. In these roles, Bridget focused on driving loan production, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and achieving significant growth in loan balances.

Bridget Cooney completed Graduate School of Banking at Pacific Coast Banking School from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an Executive MBA from W. P. Carey School of Business – Arizona State University between 2010 and 2012. Bridget also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
