Monica Martens has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Monica started their career as a Lead Leasing agent at R.S. Development, where they showed and leased luxury apartment homes. Monica then worked at Cultural Homestay International as an Academic Coordinator, overseeing the High School Foreign Exchange Student Program and conducting home visits. After that, Monica worked as a Community Manager at Capitol Steps, Crossings, Tumwater Heights, and Fairwind Estates, overseeing the operations of commercial and residential properties. Monica also served as a Housing Coordinator at the Low Income Housing Institute, managing administrative tasks and interacting with tenants. Monica later joined Investco Financial as part of the management team, where they oversaw the operations of an Urban Development community and served as a liaison for the Disabled Veteran's Program. Monica then transitioned to The Rock Church, where they held the position of Director of Children's Ministry, managing and coordinating various activities and volunteers. Most recently, Monica worked as an Inside Sales Representative at Alliance Enterprises, Inc., promoting software products for the social services industry. Monica Martens began their education journey in 1989 at the Business College, where they pursued a Certificate in Business Management. In the following year, from 1990 to 1991, they attended South Puget Sound Community College, earning an A.A. degree in Psychology. Continuing their educational pursuits, Monica attended the University of Washington from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a B.A. in Humanities.
