Peter Butterfield

Peter Butterfield has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Peter started their career at GSK as a Marketer in 1999 and worked there until 2004. Peter then joined Cambridge Laboratories in 2004 as the UK Commercial Director until 2010. In 2008, they became involved with ABPI, first as a Board Member and then as the Chair of the Small Companies Forum until 2016. Since 2010, they have been with Alliance Pharmaceuticals Limited, initially serving as the Chief Commercial Officer, then Deputy CEO, Chief Operating Officer, and currently as the CEO.

Peter Butterfield attended Ermysted's Grammar School from 1987 to 1994. Peter then studied Pharmacology with a focus on Neurotransmitter Mechanisms at The University of Edinburgh from 1994 to 1998. In 2006, Peter pursued Leadership and Strategic Direction at Durham University, completing the program in 2008. Later, in 2014 and 2015, they enrolled at the London Business School for a course in Corporate Finance. Additionally, Peter attended Cambridge Marketing College, but no specific dates or fields of study were mentioned.
