Richard Wilson

Richard Wilson is a seasoned executive in the biopharmaceutical industry with a focus on gene therapy and product development. Currently, Richard serves on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine and as a Board Observer at Taysha Gene Therapies, while holding the position of Senior Vice President, Primary Focus Lead at Astellas Pharma since April 2022. Richard has a robust track record of strategic leadership, having previously led gene therapy program management at Astellas Gene Therapies and held key roles at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. and Innoviva. Richard's educational background includes an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from The University of Manchester.
