Dennis Jordan

Dennis Jordan has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Dennis is currently serving as the Director of Customer, Community & Economic Development at Alliant Energy since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center at The University of Iowa starting from 2010. From 2015 to 2021, Dennis was the Senior Business Development Manager at Mortenson. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Economic Development at the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance from 2001 to 2014. Dennis also worked as a Private Banking Officer at US Bank from 1998 to 2000 and as the Director of Client Services at Terry Lockridge & Dunn from 1994 to 1998. Dennis began their career as a Customer Specialist at Amana Appliances from 1991 to 1994.

Dennis Jordan has an impressive education history. Dennis completed their MBA in Business from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in Marketing from Wilson College of Business at the University of Northern Iowa between 1989 and 1991. Dennis also holds an AA in Business from Kirkwood Community College, which they earned from 1988 to 1989. Before that, Dennis attended Ellsworth Community College in 1987-1988, where their field of study was business, although they did not earn a degree during that time.
