Laura Barr

Laura Barr currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Dubuque, teaching MBA-level classes in Public Relations and Integrated Marketing. With extensive experience at Alliant Energy since 2008, Laura holds the position of Manager in Environmental Services and Corporate Sustainability, where efforts focus on aligning environmental strategies with corporate objectives. Previous roles at Alliant Energy include Supervisor of Distribution System Operations and Team Lead for Corporate Communications. Prior to joining Alliant Energy, Laura worked as a Regional Coordinator for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, where responsibilities encompassed event planning and staff mentorship. Laura began their career at Quass Broadcasting as an On-Air and Account Executive.
