Fei Xie

Fei Xie is a Senior Principal Scientist at Allogene Therapeutics with experience spanning from September 2018 to the present, focusing on immuno-oncology, T cell metabolic fitness, and off-the-shelf CAR T therapy. Prior to this role, Fei Xie served as a Senior Scientist, specializing in assay development for allogeneic CAR T therapy. From September 2016 to September 2018, Fei Xie worked as a Research Scientist at Eureka Therapeutics, gaining expertise in primary T cell isolation, expansion, immunologic characterization, and enhancement of CAR T and TCR T cell persistence. Additionally, Fei Xie completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF from February 2012 to August 2016, where research included the application of CRISPR/Cas9 technology for β-thalassemia mutation correction and leading projects on reversible immortalization for cellular transformation. Fei Xie holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
