Phillip Wright

Phillip Wright has extensive work experience in the field of human resources, with a focus on HR business partnering, HRIS management, and project management. Phillip is currently the Director, HR Business Partner at Allogene Therapeutics. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director, HR Business Partner at Bristol Myers Squibb. From 2018 to 2021, they held the role of HR Business Partner at MyoKardia. Phillip also has a background in HRIS management, having served as a Senior HRIS Manager at Genentech from 2016 to 2018. Phillip has also held various roles at Genentech, including Senior Project Manager, Senior HRIS Analyst, and Senior Programmer Analyst. Before their time at Genentech, Phillip worked as a Consultant, both self-employed and at The Hunter Group, Inc. Phillip began their career as a Systems Engineer at EDS.

Phillip Wright has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Michigan State University. Phillip has also completed a PM Certificate Program at UC Berkeley Extension and HCM Fundamentals at Workday. In addition, they hold certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in August 2012, and Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, obtained in March 2018.
