Sara Halmos has a diverse work experience in the field of molecular and antibody engineering. Sara started their career at Massachusetts General Hospital as a research technician and then worked at Codon Devices as a Senior Research Associate, where they focused on protein engineering and high-throughput gene construction. Sara later joined AVEO Oncology as an Associate Scientist, specializing in antibody engineering and phage display technology for novel anti-cancer therapies. Sara then held various roles at GnuBIO, 121Bio LLC, and Compass Therapeutics LLC, where they continued to contribute to molecular biology and antibody discovery and engineering. Currently, Sara is working at Alloy Therapeutics, Inc. as Associate Director and Global Head of Molecular Technologies, where they oversee the development and execution of molecular biology platforms.
Sara Halmos completed their BA in Molecular Biology at Connecticut College from 1998-2002. Sara then pursued their MS in Nutritional Biochemistry at Tufts University from 2004-2006. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Project Management from the Corporate Education Group-Duke University Training program.
