Edlyn Thompson

Director, Operations Readiness at Allstate Canada

Edlyn Thompson has extensive work experience, starting in 1995 with Tim Hortons as a Human Resources Business Partner. Edlyn then joined FCT in 2001 as a Manager of Human Resources and Training before transitioning to Allstate Canada in 2007. At Allstate, they held various roles, including Sr. Corporate Learning Consultant, Director of Brand Education, Education Content Design & Development, Director of Human Resources, and their current role as Director of Operations Readiness.

Edlyn Thompson has an Honours B.A. degree in Industrial Relations and Criminology from the University of Toronto Mississauga. Additionally, they have a Post Graduate Certification in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College. Edlyn also attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they studied Leading with Analytics. Edlyn has obtained certifications in Co-Active Coaching from The Coaches Training Institute, Grief Coaching from The Institute for Life Coach Training [ILCT], and a QPR Gatekeeper Certificate from the QPR Institute.
