Samantha Prezioso, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious organizations. Samantha began their career as a Research Fellow at the FDA from June 2009 to August 2010. Following this, they worked as a Research Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from September 2010 to August 2012. Samantha then pursued their Ph.D. at Emory University, where they served as a Graduate Student Researcher in the laboratory of Dr. Joanna Goldberg from August 2012 to December 2018. During their time at Emory, Samantha contributed to research on cystic fibrosis bacterial pathogens, focusing on gene regulation and characterizing novel proteins. After completing their Ph.D., Samantha undertook two consecutive Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions: one at Harvard University from January 2019 to October 2021 and another at Boston Children's Hospital from January 2019 to October 2021. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Emory University, where they studied from 2012 to 2018. Samantha then went on to obtain a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard University for the academic year 2019-2020.
