Andrew Gemmell

Andrew Gemmell has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning over two decades. Andrew started their career at SAFC Pharma in 1997, where they worked as a Quality Manager for 15 years. Andrew then joined Abbott Diagnostics as a Senior QA Specialist for a brief period in 2012, before moving to Amdipharm as a Regulatory Compliance Manager. In 2013, they joined Shire as a Senior QA Specialist II, where they worked for four years. In 2017, they joined Almac Pharma Services as a QA Manager, a role they held until 2022. Currently, Andrew is the Head of Quality at Almac Group's Charnwood facility.

Andrew Gemmell completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Cell Biology from the University of Glasgow between 1981 and 1985.
