Aly Pensinger

Aly Pensinger is currently a QA Engineer at Almanac. Prior to this, they worked as a Quality Manager at Epic for over 10 years. There, they were responsible for manual software testing of patient safety-critical software, documenting issues effectively, and following up to ensure that issues were fixed quickly. In addition, Aly coordinated translation release testing for six different languages across a division of 1400 people, and helped streamline the process for testers while identifying more errors before release. Aly also worked on Epic's OpTime surgical documentation team for three years.

Before working at Epic, Aly was a Computer Lab Consultant at the Wisconsin School of Business from 2007 to 2009. And prior to that, they were an Assistant Manager at Eddie Bauer from 2006 to 2011.

One of the most memorable experiences Aly had at Epic was traveling to Switzerland to assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists with Epic's first software implementation in a German-speaking country. It went very smoothly given the huge scope and paved the way for more Swiss customers to contract with Epic.

Aly Pensinger received their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and Business German from the Wisconsin School of Business. Aly is currently working as a marketing consultant.

They are on a team with Dakota Raymond - Lead Frontend Engineer, Greg Zapp - Engineering Lead, Platform Team, and Gabriel Perácio - Engineer. Their manager is Eddie Wu, Head, Engineering.
