Meghan Rachford

Meghan Rachford serves as Associate General Counsel at both Acella Pharmaceuticals, LLC and Alora Pharmaceuticals, LLC since March 2023. With extensive experience in intellectual property litigation, Meghan concentrated on patent litigation during tenure at McGuireWoods from August 2013 to May 2021, where responsibilities included managing all aspects of discovery and participating in trials and Markman hearings. Previous positions include Associate roles at Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman LLP and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, as well as legal internships and clerkships at UCB, Hornsby Law Group, and Organon Pharmaceuticals. Meghan holds a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University, where additional studies included a minor in Art History.
