Brian Murphy

Brian Murphy is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Kobre & Kim since August 2015. Prior to this role, Brian worked as a Conflicts Attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where responsibilities included conducting research on potential conflicts of interest for a multidisciplinary law firm. Additionally, as a Staff Attorney, Brian focused on FCPA investigations during the discovery stage of litigation. Earlier experience includes a Legal Fellowship at South Brooklyn Legal Services, assisting parents with educational claims, and a Summer Associate position at Fuerst Ittleman PL, where litigation and regulatory support in international trade disputes were provided. Brian began a legal career as an intern in the Office of the Ombudsman at the FDA, contributing to stakeholder engagement and administrative process resolution. Brian holds a J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.A. cum laude in Philosophy from KU Leuven.
