Zubair Virjee

Zubair Virjee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

At Alpaca, they currently hold the position of Director, Partner Enablement, where they are responsible for enabling and supporting partner success. Prior to this, they served as the Director, Sales & Success Enablement and Sales Enablement Manager, showcasing their expertise in driving sales and success within the organization.

Before joining Alpaca, Zubair worked at Validere from 2019 to 2022, where they held the role of Customer Success and Technical Sales. In this role, they successfully managed and led teams in implementing and supporting accounts, resulting in significant revenue growth for the company.

Prior to Validere, Zubair worked at Deloitte Canada as a Senior Consultant, Strategy & Operations from 2019 to 2019. At Deloitte, they played a crucial role in building and supporting a reliability centered maintenance program for clients.

Zubair started their career at Enbridge in 2014, where they held multiple roles. As a Senior Petroleum Quality Analyst, they developed and implemented a sample and test program, improving the quality of crude oil and optimizing pipelines. Zubair also worked as a Quality Engineer in Training, providing engineering support for process improvements and participating in assessments.

Overall, Zubair brings a wealth of experience in sales, customer success, operations, and engineering to their current role at Alpaca.

Zubair Virjee obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta, from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 2008 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Zubair also obtained an AWS Partner Accreditation (Business) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2021.
