James Schaffer

James Schaffer has worked in the software engineering field since 2008. James began their career as the Founder and Bookkeeper at Semantic Management LLC in 2008. In 2011, they Co-Founded and Co-Directed The Advocacy Institute. In 2020, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at thisjames.com and as a Sr. Software Engineer and Product Lead, Software Engineer, and Software Engineer Intern at Data Society. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Alpha Medical.

James Schaffer earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Literary Theory and Classical Latin from Harvard University between 2000 and 2004. James then furthered their education by attending the Flatiron School for Software Engineering from 2019 to 2020.
